What works best
- One face, filling most of the frame
- Taken in daylight or good indoor light – light coming from the front, not behind
- In focus, with the eyes visible
- The original photo, not a screenshot of it – screenshots lose detail
What we can't work miracles with
- Photos where the face is very small, blurred, or in deep shadow
- Heavy filters – the engraving will faithfully reproduce the filter, not the face
- Group shots, unless you tell us which face to use in the order notes
The safety net
A person reviews every photo before engraving. If yours won't do them justice, we'll email you within one working day with what to fix or swap. Your order doesn't move until the portrait is right.
