Why “Keepling”?
A keepling is a small thing you keep because of who it holds. We made the word up, because the thing itself has always existed: the photograph in the wallet, the charm on the chain, the tag that jingles every time they come running.
Every keepling is made once, for one person. You send us a photograph; we engrave it into solid stainless steel – not printed on top to wear away, but cut into the metal itself.
A person checks every portrait
Not software – a person. If your photo won't engrave beautifully, we email you before we make anything, and help you choose one that will. We would rather post your keepling a day later than post one that isn't right.
Small, and glad to be
We're a small UK business. We answer our own emails. Every parcel is packed by hand, because the thing inside is somebody's favourite face.
